Update: New Member Inquiries

Since the virus outbreak and with many of you having time to spare the offers of support as a volunteer have been just staggering, thank you.

Each and every one of our SERV Volunteers has been through a layer of training, to understand what we do, and where we go. We provide information on routes and procedures at hospitals, as well as handling information for Blood, Samples, and Donor Milk.

Meeting that layer of training with new members is the real challenge now for us, with face to face contact being largely impossible, no venues being available to us, and restrictions being placed on some of our key people.

So my message is do keep applying, our Membership Secretary will be in touch with you, and we are looking at ways of introducing new support so we can undertake things remotely. With so much going on though we are quite restricted so all I can ask is that you please be patient with us.
